Q40 paddle shifters?

Just curious if anyone knows for certain if the Q40 is pre-wired for paddle shifters? I have been told several different things from no..to maybe... to you will have to disassemble the steering column to find out.. Tried the search function and didn't see anything so?

Unfortunately, you will have to take the collar off the steering column to find out if you’re pre wired for it. The electrical connectors are usually taped up in there.

I looked at mine while installing a remote starter and the wiring is there for them I have a 2015 Q40 Base so I imagine they are there on most models. If you pull off the lower dash cover and look up underneath towards the steering wheel you can see there are two connectors taped to the wiring going to the steering wheel. Better to take the time to make sure.
