I like my weighted aluminum shift **** except a few months a year when it turns into a damn iron from the heat. Keep a beanie or glove to put over the **** when its sitting outside.

Same for me, but it's the cold, not the heat. That's why I have two *****... one for summer, and one for winter.

Wear mittens that match your beanie in the cold?

I had that **** of my Legacy GT and loved it.
It's 3" tall just like the stock shifter ****. Do you consider the stock know too low? How hot does the metal band get during the summer months??

MOM makes some nice shift ***** too, they are basically the same with the ones used in race cars: https://www.carid.com/momo/shift-*****/?fromBrandPage=1

My favorite is this one: https://www.carid.com/momo/sk50-seri...pn-skfblk.html

I consider the stock ****, paired with the STS a little too low.

I had no issues during the summer, although I had it made with a 1/4" band instead of the 1/2".

You should get it and post pics

For my car, i did the M56 shifter with the trim ring and retrofitted the Q50 shift boot for matching stitching.

For manuals... go for the Nismo Titanium ****.

It really does take a good photo, and the design looks appealing. But in real life the Nismo **** is small and awkward.

If you were collecting a bunch of *****, and were fond of swapping them out, then sure, add the Nismo to the collection. Otherwise, hard pass.

I'll climb on. Just installed a raceseng spherology yesterday and love it. Posted an update in the what did you do to your sedan thread. I think it's 470 grams. Stainless and delrin. Feels great in the hand. Considered their topology cover but I'm glad I went with the sphere. The topology is still fairly round but has a bit of a cylindrical shape. If I want to try it I can buy that delrin cover for like $35 and swap them later.
I can't imagine the 'piston' style already pictured are comfortable to use...

NW_6MT looks great. Where'd you come by your shift boot? It matches the seats' perforations and stitching perfectly.

Redline goods makes them. I think they may be a member on here but if you just google "redline goods shift boot" it will come up. It's fairly inexpensive but takes a few weeks to get as they are in Poland I believe, or somewhere nearby.

Great to know, looks like real quality. Do you have a short shift setup too? Everything looks set pretty low into the shifter console.
