Problem with HID housings
How the heck do you get the darn HID covers off? The hulk must have put mine in.
I tried for hours, counter clockwise, clockwise, with wrenches, I have the wheels off, I have the air boxes out, I have the entire fender liner out. Tried above, below, hammering.....
These covers will not budge.

Are you referring to the black plastic cover behind the headlight that seals everything off? Or are you referring to the metal cover that makes contact with the bulb? You should be able to twist that off to get access to the bulb. Then there is a metal clip that needs to be undone to remove the bulb.
The black plastic cover. I got the drivers side finally but the passenger side is just not coming loose. Is the passenger the opposite turn since it's on the the other side? Or should it also turn left?
Yeah I know this should be simple, but my car nothing is simple.

It's 100% a left turn on both sides. My passenger side was really hard to get off too, Turned out the last person who had it open had 3 of the 4 tabs in and forced it to turn causing it to wedge itself in there. I was able to lift up a bit on the side that wasn't in and twist at the same time to get it loose.
I have tried everything I can think of, and im scared to use any more force than I have been. The black plastic cover is the only thing preventing me from transferring my hid bulbs to new aftermarket headlights, and im about to just get new hid's. It's not the black plastic cover before the ballast, but its the one that is where most hid's just have clips holding them in. Anybody have any suggestions?
