Came across these aftermarket headlight housings last month... They arrived today, the install should happen sometime this month, once the new grill I ordered today arrives.
Some insight about the new housing:
The video is a little cheesy in my opinion and leaves out lighting one of the
three projectors that serves as the high beam. The images I am including came from their website and Facebook page.
The large round projector is used for the high beam and has a H7 socket.
The two square projectors utilize the OEM HID bulb and hardware. This was explained to me in a reply on their YouTube post.
Two type options: Black w/Clear lens and Black w/smoked lens
I purchased the set with the clear lens.
The HID hardware removal and installation instructions that come with the housings really suck so if you are not mechanically inclined it is recommended that you have the housings professionally installed.
I am looking into purchasing Diode Dynamics HID conversion kit for the H7 socket or the LED H7 bulb they sell. The lumens for the LED H7 will likely not be high enough to serve as the high beam. I am just awaiting their response to an email I sent before posting this. But I am leaning more towards the HID conversion kit.
I'll be posting detailed unpacking pictures and then some before and after pictures eventually. I can't take the before and unpacking pictures until this weekend.
In case anyone is wondering about the cost: Currently the set is selling for $599 and my set did come with the H7 and turn signal halogen bulbs.
No where in my post does it mention me having it installed by outside sources. I merely state that if you are not mechanically inclined have them professionally installed. Read the post more carefully next time, before you reply so hastily.
These look kinda nice... but do they STILL have an amber reflector? All I want are a set of amber-less headlights (while they are turned off). Is that too much to ask for?
The low beams use the d2s bulb and the output is through the two square projectors. When I do the install I will do one head light at a time for a comparison.
I will be posting pictures of the housings today to document the unboxing. But off the top of my head there are still amber lenses. They are a small side marker lens that has 3 LED's for lighting, the plasma DRL is normally white and pulses amber when the turn signal is active, and there is the same amber turn signal bulb that the OEM housings utilize. The soon to be taken pictures should give a better answer to your question. The you tube video is a basic demo of the lights functions minus the high beam. However it is unclear in the video what exactly remains amber when the head lights are no turned on.

Two projectors and one bulb ? Interesting. Can't wait for output.
Not sure how I feel about these. They look a little too busy for my taste
In this pic I like the look w/ that "swoosh" turned off, that smoke gray swoosh looks really good, but when turned on it does tend to dominate the look a bit too much IMO.
And the tripple lens...I think thats overkill for the design style of the coupe headlights. That looks better on a wider light design. Again...all opinion.
