Minor issue after grill swap

Swapped my grill for the midnight black. After reinstall, i noticed my hood was not as flush with the bumper as before. Also, when I pressed the hood down bottom left near the headlight, it made a noise as if it was hitting the latch.

After further inspection, I saw the hood latch on the hood itself ( at the very top when opened) needed adjustment as well as the rubber piece next to it. After some playing around around I finally got it to where it was before.

Strange how this happened and how swapping the grill would effect flushness of the hood. New grill looks great, can't tell it was ever changed.

Has anyone else experienced this or had a similar issue? Thank you.

Switch back to stock grille and I'd bet that everything looks flush again.

Sounds like there was no problem. OP had to make adjustments to make it fit correctly. We have no idea if OP just installed it wrong the first time around.
