Windshield Washer Nozzles Uncleanable?
Gentleman,
I have removed my nozzles and soaked them in vinegar. One (farthest from reservoir) had much black sand-like gunk inside and is mostly clear when moving air through it now. The other I cannot get a hint of air through! I currently don't have access to compressed air. Any thoughts on chemicals? Purple Power? Reservoir had a hole in it and some gunk inside bottom but I have rinsed, epoxied, and replaced on car. Pump works fine. Any help appreciated.

can you try a compressed air can that you use to clean your computer?
i am not sure what chemicals you can use to clean it with cause the nozzle is mostly plastic.
can you very carefully use a needle to poke in there and try to clean it out?

Grt idea Hurley. I'm with ya on the chemicals. I've used a safety pin but it's not going very far. I'll try to find a needle or other and see if I have better success.

Justt bought ride. Rat had eaten a hole in reservoir and nobody had fixed. Had some blue washer fluid still and debris. Probably what got sucked up into nozzle b/c hole is at top of reservoir so it would've been hard to know that it had a problem until nozzle got clogged. I also found filler neck cap in shielding so that part was also allowing in dirt.
