Noob question for those with tinted windows

If the law says 50% front side window and 35% reae side window, which do we follow since our cars are coupes? Would the small triangular blind spot window behind our big passenger and driver window be considered the rear side window? So id have to put no less than 50 on the big windows connected the doors?

I would guess you are correct in that the small window is considered the rear. 50% on doors and 35% on small rear windows

The intent of the legal limits is to keep the driver visible. So windows looking into the front of the car can't be tinted more than the legal limit. The "rear" aspect would only apply to vehicles with rear seat windows. Which in our coupes is basically just that little side window.

Front windows are front windows. the little side ones are considered rear windows.
