Question Crackling Sound from Sunroof

`08 G37s Coupe 6MT

I`ve had this car for a couple months now, and I realized in cool weather, usually in the morning, there is a crackling noise coming from the sunroof. This happens when it is either closed, or tilted up. It sounds really bad as I go over an uneven surface. When the glass is back it does not make noise. If anyone has any ideas or tips for solutions, please, let me know.

P.S. Anyone know what intake filters I should pick up? Looking for something that is easy breathing.

a) Retract the sunroof;
b) Clean the seal around the glass;
c) Clean the metal roof area where the seal seats against the roof;
d) Apply a lubricant to the seal- I use Gummi Pflege;

Solves my problem. I usually reapply every 2-3 months or so.

^This. You can also use Shin-Etsu, a silicone based grease. Honda Part #08798-9013. Avoid using anything petroleum based on rubber (Armor-All).
