Hey all, tried searching but could not find anything on this exact part - G6950-1NM0A. They come up as illuminated kick plates for the Q40, and G37 sedan. The catch is they are up for sale on multiple websites for around $150 bucks as compared to $260 for part number G6950-JJ600.

Does anyone have any experience with this exact part? I actually drive a 07 g35x sedan, but it is a V36 so I'm guessing if it fits a g37 sedan, then it should fit mine with no problems correct? Probably will have to do some splicing but there are multiple DIY's on that.
Thoughts?

 

interesting. my go-to OEM accessories supplier is orderinfinitiparts.com. they list the same part as above for $147.60, but then also list a different part G6950-JK600 for $294:

i'd be curious to know what/if there are any differences. Nissan is funny with part numbers, often with numerous part numbers for the same physical part. floor mats are a good example. the coupe, sedan and convertible have different part numbers by model as well as by transmission. in reality they are the same part.

the site above lists G6950-JK600 for multiple model years, as well as the G6950-1NM0A number. seems to me like either part should work.

i suggest a call to one of the linked sites to ask about compatibility. my guess is you'll be fine, there may be a slight variation in electrical that could be resolved.

 

Thanks for the reply canucklehead. I just got off the phone with my local dealership and they told me that part is for the G37 sedan. I asked him if it would fit my 07 G35 and I was told that the wiring might be different but it will since the body is the same. Been wanting to do this for a while now and I can't pass up this price! haha. I will update once install is complete.
