I use Kuda dash mount with iPOW magnet. Mounts to dash well. I would say the fit is about 75-80% perfect.

Kuda is a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it. Other mounts that I have used makes the dash look really tacky. Also, as others have said, the pro clip mount is dangerously low if you use your phone for GPS map.

I will post more pics when I get my G back on Thursday. That was a picture I took about a week ago for something else I was working on.

TEXTRAX mounts are the only ones to use for anything. There mini metal 3m adhesive mounts are the best for any minimalist.

As mentioned, for safety reasons, phone should be near eye level. I still prefer mine at the bottom left corner of the windshield. It's at eye level but not intrusive like it would be if mounted in the middle of the windshield (below the rear view mirror).

Yup, it's pricey, but to me, it is worth it. It doesn't make the interior look tacky and it does not obstruct the vent's airflow. In addition, Kuda's customer service is pretty good as well. USPS actually broke the first one they sent me and after contacting Kuda, they sent me a brand new one right away despite being in the middle of moving to a larger warehouse.

I forgot to mention, the magnet mount and dash base mount are two separate items and sold separately.

what does the magnet mount part look like - the "ball and collar" type? i have a bunch and wonder if any of those would work with it without having to buy another.

edit: nevermind, i see it is, but i'd need the base part with the 4 screws.

If your base part has a flat surface, you can use double sided tape to attach it to the dash mount.
