Reverse/Backup Light Help
Reverse/Backup Light Help
Howdy, ya'll....
I've been reading this site for a long time, but have only now had a reason to post.
I have an 09 G37 Journey (without nav) that I absolutely LOVE. When I bought the car, it had everything I had ever wanted, except for a back up camera. Needless to say, I had one installed soon after buying it. About a month ago, my reverse lights stopped working, but the rear view camera still works. This weekend, I dug into the car to try and find the problem. I have checked all bulbs, fuses (including the small panel next to the battery and the drivers side kick panel) and wiring connections, but I can not find anything wrong.
I was thinking the problem could be the reverse switch on the trans, but if that was bad, I don't think the rear view camera would still be functioning properly. Anyone have any thoughts on that?
I have searched all over the net, but couldn't find anyone having the same problem. Is there anyone on here that can help out? I have checked the FSM, but I did not find anything that I have not already checked.
In advance, thanks for any and all help that you can provide.
Thomas
