Coupe trunk will not open

There are a couple of threads regarding this but no diffinitive solution.
Trunk will not open with button in or outside of car and not with key fob, beeps 4 times when using trunk button on outside. Assuming it is a power issue of some sort but hoping someone can shed some more light on this before I go searching for broken wires n the harness. Does anyone know if any fuses are linked to this system?
Thanks

Took mine to the dealership. They told me it's the trunk switch. Have a appointment to fix it. Quoted me $200

update, ended up being a broken wire in the trunk harness on left side of trunk. Fixed and all is working again.

How did you find the broken wire?

I cut open the rubber boot that runs from the body to trunk on the left side, broken wire was right in that area where the wires and boot fold over when closing the trunk

This is exactly what happened to me. $30 fix including a crimp tool, and butt splices.

There's a mess of jokes in that reply.

Which wire was it? I don't see any obvious breaks in mine

It was the green wire on mine, broken where the hose kinks the most when you close the trunk

Green wire here too!

I loosen both boots. Pull on each colored wire softly and the green one came up with no resistance. Connect new wire, ran a hangar piece down the rubber tunnel to exit on the bottom with the additional wire hooked on. Connected and all set.
