Seibon TS carbon fiber hood. Rain and K&N intakes.

Hey guys,

curious if any of you have this hood on your g with K&N intakes. I'm being offered a slot for a group buy from a local shop for a good price but I notice in all the pictures it looks like in the rain the lowest vent could drain right into my intakes on both sides. Anyone drive with this thing in the rain at all? Also any issues with fitment or any belts making noise when wet?

I've had my vented hood for 6 years now and never had any issues. However I have stillen gen 2 intakes which come with urethane boxes. No issues with belts squeaking or anything like that. It's a good mod especially in the summer time you can see the heat coming out of the vents. Hope that helps

How was the install? I hear there's a decent amount of fitment issues.

Also I am planning on getting hood pins as the g is the one latch in the middle. For those who have installed hood pins is there any easy place to mount them or did something have to get fabbed up for this?
