My friend has a 2012 G37 sedan. His OEM Driver's seat ripped, so he bought a used 2012 G25 seat from salvage. I tried replacing it today, but the G25 had completely different wiring harnesses for airbags/ was missing connectors / modules that were installed on the bottom of the G37 sedan's seat. Did the G25 come with less seat features?

 

I would have thought the seats would be the same... but if not then why not just take them apart and swap the covers?

 

Is it a sport model? Sport seats and non-sport seats are for sure different.

 

How do you do this? The seat assembly looks pretty complicated.
