I purchased my 2010 G37 sedan 6 months ago with 31,000 miles and in near flawless condition. I have had no problems with it except that about a month ago my passenger illuminated kick plate began flickering and is incredibly dim. As apposed to spending around $300 for a set of two new illuminated plates (I am only finding them in sets of two at this price), is there an alternative? Is there a way to replace the light inside or even a way to just purchase a single plate? It seems so trivial but I kept up and replaced little things like this in my last car and sold it way above KBB value.
