Ok, so about four of the leds on the inner led ring (reflector ring, not the turn signal ring) are noticeably dimmer than the rest of the leds on my tails. However, when the brakes are applied, ALL leds are properly and uniformly lit, even the problem ones. Now, i work with electronics for a living and i am willing to replace or fix the issue. What i would like to know is if there are two leds per bulb, or just one that handles separate voltages? And if the circuit board is removable from the housing without breaking plastic? It may just require blowing it out with an air hose but im not going to remove them again until i have a solid game plan. Its a used car and i believe they were like that when i bought it, but i didn't notice. Its very annoying and ruins the look of the car, and makes a rather clean tail light tint look ghetto, somehow. And they were like that before i tinted them. Thanks in advance!!!

I was about to look for a new tail light assembly.

 

I have a 2012 G37xS Coupe with the same issue that started this past winter. My car is never winter driven and I have a Winter Shelter. One of my LEDS in the rear passenger side outer bigger circle is dimmer than the rest. I'm just hoping that it corrects itself when the warm weather returns. Otherwise I was told that I would have to replace the whole light assembly. I had a problem with the front passenger ballast and I was told the same thing by Infiniti. So I found just the ballast on EBAY I found the OEM taillights on EBAY too for much less than from Infiniti.
