Have a 2013 sedan that came with some dark tints. Stock reverse lights arebarely adequate. I need somethibg brighter. I don't care if they are LED or incandescent, but they need to have not just better output, but throw a usable pattern of light that really illuminates the area.

While im at it, is there a way to get more side throw from the headlights? My last two cars had side lamps that illuminated with the turn signals. With the G, turning on to a dark street feels like jumping into an abyss.

I have these lights, and they are very bright. I have no problems reversing at night; it's basically like having headlights for the rear.

Do you have personal experience with these? Do they play nice with the reflectors and give a usable light pattern? I find a lot of them give a bright spot behind the car but don't illuminate the ground well

I also have preference for brand name bulbs with a good warranty even if they cost more and have less overall output. I don't need cheap chinese electronics frying the harness. A more neutral color temp is also appreciated

 

Diode dynamics but they're expensive I'm warning you. But it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Not as expensive as replacing a burned out wiring harness or scorched light housing. Buy once, cry once.

 

Also, any ideas on cornering lights?
