I am not if you are aware of that, but if you have comprehensive insurance coverage any lights covered with zero deductible. It is like the windshield. I had my head light on my G35 crack and it was replaced free and without any penalty.

Srsly? That would be fantastic. I've had a cracked fog lens on my wife's car for a couple years now. The light works, but the glass has a hole in it. I just reached out to my Insurance Agent to find out.

Great idea, greco65. Certainly worth looking into.

Agent wrote me back. We have a $250 deductible that applies, so it's not like replacing a windshield. At least, not in NY it isn't.
