The price is not bad but I want to know if it really looks like the advertised picture.

They can look that good, but that's a cover you sew yourself, not something you slip over. Stitching it properly will take hours. There's a few threads on here that someone will hopefully link.

I put one on just like that a couple weeks ago and am super happy with how it came out. Such a better feel to the wheel now. It was very time consuming (3+ hours) but I took the wheel off and did it in front of the tv with half dozen beers. Be patient and make sure you get the leather almost perfect before pulling the double sided tape that is

included.
Let me know if you have any questions if you decide to give it a shot. I'll try and help as best i can.

I've done a bunch of those wheels for people and will be ramping up production again. I have one about halfway done. I've gotten pretty good and make sure the stitching is tight and the leather lays nicely. I also have a technique where I add extra padding to the 3 and 9 o clock grips for a nicer feel. Keep your eyes peeled on the FS threads or send me a PM. I already have a few people waiting for my next wheel to be done, so don't be shy to send me a message.

You can definitely do this yourself if you have the time and want to put in the effort. I offer a post install swap and give money back for your stock wheel so your have zero down time.

Here is one of the many I have done:

Ryne's work on these wheels is AMAZING! I also bought one of his wheels and its held up beautifully. Hugeeeee difference from the stock wheel and I just regret not buying it sooner from him! I wouldn't hesitate dealing with him at all. He's a great member and a really cool guy too!

I can! I am on a rotating thread color plan for the thread right now. I have an amazing blue (slight purple tone) complete and ready for purchase. This is a unique compliment to the blue in the instrument cluster. I don't expect it to last too long.

I just finished a tan/grey stitched one that's in the FS section. Anyways, after doing almost 15 of these wheels I have learned so much to get the quality, look, and feel as close to OEM with these kits in a reasonable amount of time. It still takes me a fair bit of time to do the work, but much improved when compared to the first time that took days and multiple times of starting over to get it right. One area of noticeable improvement in my latest revision is the fact that I don't need to do the additional stitching to hold everything tight at the 3/9 grips.

And now I present, my latest work (lol):

Beautiful.
I should be swapping mine this weekend - got the new bit set a couple of days ago. Now I have a bit for every occasion. (yep, about time.)
I'll post pics when it's on the car.

Do you have other choices of the leather color? I have the red IPL interior and think the red leather would look good too.

I think it'll be too "loud", unless you are into that kind of thing..
