iJDMTOY Prjector Fog lights anyone?

I've been trying to decide on a new set of fog lights as my driver side fog light recently turned up busted.

Anyone ever tried the iJDMTOY PROJECTOR fogs before? I saw they're halo fog lights and really don't like the way the look when they're not on.

Here are the exact fogs I'm referring to:

Mini HID Bi-Xenon Retrofit Projector OEM Replacement Fog Lamps

Thoughts?

For me .... I would never buy from iJDMToy .... their products were so-so at best and their customer service SUCKED. Took them 4 tries to get me the right product. After the second time they insisted I send a picture of the wrong item as they didn't believe me. Stick with Diode Dynamics or V-LED.

Does Diode Dynamics and V-LED sell an actual fog light? I know they make bulbs, but I'm referring to the fog light itself.

The Retrofit Source is a popular choice.

They sell the Morimoto XB's which at one time were in a GB on here. Seems like there are issues with how level the "crossbar" is on them:

Yeah I think a good majority of the people got the Morimoto LED fogs me included and in my opinion haven't had any problems with them and output is really good.

I'm not able to find any on their site? I see they make bulbs, but I don't see any fog light housings.

I think I'm going to order these and see how they look in person. I'm just not a fan of the whole setup inside the Morimoto's. These projector fogs look very OEM to me, at least in the pictures.

Get the morimoto fogs from theretrofitsource. Trust me. They are bright and pure white.

I like really them so far (got them last week). I also have Xetronic 6000k HID Fogs in the Projector housing. Installation was a pain in the *** (especially on passenger side). Minor modification required for better mounting / stability.

will take final pics when project is complete.

Awesome, looking forward to it! Can you talk more about what you had to modify to get them to fit better?

Loving that. Looks very OEM. I hate when HID's are just tossed into a halogen designed housing with no projector to focus the light. Thanks Sway. This is the route I'm going to go.

ok, here are some pearls, ymmv. Passenger side is difficult due to the washer fluid reservoir. I wasn't satisfied with the lone mounting screw which mates to the factory mounting location. I decided I needed an additional mounting location, and bought a longer 3/4" screw (10/32 thread) and washer, and punched a hole on the stock shroud on the 'inner side' (towards driver's side), inorder to have 2 mounting points for the projector housing.

Hope this helps. best of luck
