Those are the Diode Dynamics foglights. They do fit, but on the passenger side of the coupe (I have 2013), it gets a bit tight between the washer fluid reservoir and the back of the bulb. I found I had to remove the undertray and fender liner so the body have enough flex to finesse the bulb into place.
Very bright bulbs!
Hmm I assume this is the same procedure for any LED fog light kit with the extra width on the base. Can you trim the fender liner? I don't want water or snow coming up and accumulating around the fog light housing
Morimoto 6500K D2S bulbs are the best bang for buck, as for interior/exterior lights.. i personally bought several sets of LED bulbs before finding the perfect pure white 5000K bulbs for my interior and rear license plate.
May i ask, what city lights are you running?
Diode Dynamics... they're brighter than what i expected...
Not necessarily, I found that my 2012 G37 Sedan came with koito D2S bulbs from the factory which was relatively odd. But yes to answer the main question, 4300K is the original temp.
Also, the coupe uses the "angled style". Thats what I have on mine. They are really nice but the output wasn't as good as I'd hoped it be.
Retrofit the TSX Clear lens and upgrade the bulbs, the newer Q50s just have better lens and bulbs its simple.. I just did the Morimoto 6500K xB bulbs, sure they advertise as 6500K but to me they're more of a 5500K? ish colour..

EDIT. Just bought a 4300K HID Kit off eBay. Only $30, made in USA. If it sucks I'll just reinstall factory lighting
HID Fogs are overkill imo.. try LED's or higher quality halogens. I personally like 3000k or Amber for fog lights, that contrast helps others see you and reflect those white markers on the road..

Retrofit TSX clear lens on what? the fogs? I already upgraded my stock projectorss to the TSX clear lens but I run Osram CBI's in the summer and Osram Nightbreakers in the winter (dont ask me why lol). The Q50's are all LED and I'm not sure we can retrofit anything on the coupe if I'm not mistaken. And also I agree, HID fogs are just overkill, HID 101 - halogen housings are NOT meant for HIDs.
update: Just installed my HID fog lights. Pain in the butt for the passenger's side but came out ok. 4300K seems to look like 6000K, must've been the supplier I used. Also did my LED city lights which look great.
