I'm installing my HID fog kit 3k and my headlights either 6k or 8k,
Did my research higher you go less output blah blah
But I drove 8 even 10k lamps in some cars and I can def see....,
But anyway I'm def leaning more towards the 8k lamps cuz that hint of blue is so sexy
Further more my fogs is gonna be a 3k hid so the yellow is gonna stand out
So it's not like in doing the whole trynna match the fogs and headlight thing where I see

5K perfect .... 6K less than perfect ....8k = Rice but hey, Wassup ... it's your car.

 

8k is way more than a hint of blue. It is full on blue and, as G-man says, its ricetastic. I laugh at people that have the BLUUUUUUUUE headlights and how they think it looks good.

And sure you may be able to "see" with 8k, but light output is way, way better with white 5k but hey whatever floats your boat.

 

I think 10k is straight up blue
8k has a good hint
Plus my V is white so it looks lusty

What ever rows your boat, any Blue in your headlights looks like cheap crap, high school kids car.

 

I see cars with straight up blue headlights and some with purple
That should be considered rice
Anything 8k and under is litt
I think there's a generation gap cuz a lot of the older guys have a problem with 8k and I just keep getting compliments

People compliment riced out pieces of crap all the time. That doesn't mean they look good either.

 

Never said you were High School just that blue headlights on cars look like what high schoolers would do. No, we don't want all the cars to look the same, just decent. If you don't want people to provide their opinion than don't make posts that suggest you want input (like putting a question mark in the subject line). And yes, lots of mommy and daddys buy their precious babys nice cars.

 

I don't think 8k is ricey but then again I've never actually seen them lit in person. I actually have an 8k set in my trunk that I've been contemplating on installing for the past month but havent yet bc of the fear of it lookong ricey. Lol I think it MIGHT look nice with my satin black vinyl wrap.

In all the cars I've ever owned I've never went over 6k but figured it may look nice with the wrap job so who knows. If I ever decide to install them I'll post up some pictures otherwise they'll stay in the trunk or I'll just sell them.

Some like it and some dont. Simple as that, otherwise bickering back and forth will get nowhere except for the thread getting closed. Hell get green lights if that's what you like.

8K is rice because it reduces your light output significantly (FACT) and the last thing I need around me on the road are people that can see even less of the road. Between texting, phone calls, bad headlight output, etc. I wonder if people think they are teleporting to their destination.

 

This was 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back

 

What type of rice are we talking about? Sticky rice? Brown rice? White rice? :-)
