So I was replacing my OEM headight bulbs with 6000K and accidentally touched part of the new bulb before installing it. I wiped it off but didnt clean it off with alcohol. I know people say it decreases the life of the bulb but has anybody ever had a bulb go out quickly from touching it?

 

I think you'll be fine. I did that a few times and nothing ever happened. I also wiped it off like you said.

 

Yea i just used my cotton shirt and made sure there was no visible finger print. Hoping thats good enough

 

You should have cleaned it with IPA, but you should be okay.
