G37 Taillights, can't decide!

I'm getting my G37 wrapped red with all black accents. I was having trouble deciding how to do my taillights. Should I tint them completely black or have cutouts around the lights? Badged or Debaged? Help please, send pictures if you have some. I can't make up my mind at all.

Here's my DIY on the taillights if you have a sedan, and if you have a sedan I can supply the cutout templates

Thanks for your response! However, I have a coupe. Also, can you give me your opinion on which route I should take? Cutouts or fully black? & Badged or Debadged?

Tails w/ cutouts look much better IMO if done well, here's a thread on some nice ones

I just left the Infiniti logo on my trunk, like that the best back there and it's much easier to remove wax from just one piece instead of all those pesky letters

The picture you sent doesn't have cutouts, it's a solid smoked light. Did you mean without cutouts or with?

I wouldn't go too dark, a slight tint isn't a bad accent but it can be overdone easily.
Al posted a pretty decent tint, I wouldn't go any darker.

I'm digging the full tint over the cutouts. Micaf3ds, are yours filmed? If so, what % tint was used?

Before you go on with this, I would check if your planned tail lights are legal in your state. Illegal tail lights subject you to denial of any insurance claim you make should there be a rear end accident that IMO is more likely with such lights.

That's another reason I prefer the GTR style, you still get plenty of light through the lenses including the important side markers, and less likely to get the attention of the law.

painted professionally..
and yeah.. depending on your area and how much of a stickler your leos are.. this will definitely grab unwanted attention or at the very least give additional writeups..
i maintain another set of stockers for inspection purposes..

Yeah I'll look into that. I guess write ups would suck, but I've seen a lot of people with them here. Cops here also usually appreciate a well done up car 😜. With film light comes through pretty clearly tho, it's not hard to see at all a lot of my friends have it and easily removable.

My car is ivory pearl white and I'm getting it vinyl wrapped in black satin tomorrow! Should take a couple of days but I'm super excited for the transformation I'll post up pictures when all is said and done hopefully! And I highly suggest BlueBatMobile for headlight and taillight tints he's been in the business for over 16 years and is great!

That would look pre sweet! My cars black at the moment too but I feel like it hides the car, that's why I'm getting a glossy red
