headlight question

I have a chessy question.

I just bought an 2010-2013 headlight for a good deal, I wanted to know how can you tell if its an AFS headlight and also there's a broken tab but didn't notice it until it came here from Edmonton.

Im doing the conversion this summer if I can get all the parts, would that broken tab affect the performance or make the headlight raddled? and is it an AFS, tks in advance.

those tabs are broken on like 90% of used headlamps lol... very common for them to break. most people don't remove them properly and pull on the headlamp hard enough to break that tab before they figure out how to completely remove the assembly. i can tell you that i bought mine with both tabs broken, but it isn't affecting the performance of the lighting and i see no rattling or flickering due to fitment/mounting.

as far as knowing if it's AFS or not, i can't comment. i would "assume" that all headlamps of that style would utilize AFS technology, but i couldn't tell you what to look for on the assembly to know for sure. never inspected it that closely.

AFS stopped after 2008 or 2009 when they added fogs.
