Question How to Fix Paint Scratch?

A careless passenger in my G37S vehicle opened the front passenger door twice yesterday and rubbed and scratched the underside edge of the door against a high concrete curb. I am worried about potential corrosion starting from that area now. The Infiniti device department recommended me to buy and use a touch-up paint stick, which is a pen with two ends: paint and clear coat.

1. Is the paint stick the proper method to use in this situation? Is there anything better that I could or should use for this purpose (e.g. spray paint, anti-rust compound, etc.)?

2. If the pen is the right thing to use, what would be the appropriate procedure, i.e. surface preparation, number of paint layers and clear coat, drying time after the application of each layer, etc.?

I would like to fix this as soon as possible before too much salt gets on the roads.

Thank you very much for your help.

Post some pics of the damage

If it's just some non-visible chips on the bottom of the door then yeah, get the touch up paint and cover it up.
