Brake light led strip

One of the bulbs went out on the led brake light strip - the one on the rear windshield. My local Nissan dealer said it would be $200+ to fix because your have to replace the whole thing, not just the bulb. He did suggest bringing it to the Infinti dealer though since the car should still be under warranty. Does this all sound correct?

Assuming you're still under warranty and there's no physical damage to it somehow you should be good. Nobody here can tell you though.

My dad had to do that for my family's Honda Accord. It is the same procedure with every vehicle, it costs a lot to fix.

UPDATE: It was covered under warranty so all is good!

On another note, they said my steering rack has a small power steering fluid leak. This is why I was sometimes hearing a loud straining power steering pump noise making left turns. I told them about the TSB ITB12-035, but apparently that doesn't apply to my 2013xS. This part will also be covered under warranty! I'm kind of annoyed that these problems exist in the first place but oh well.

At least it all worked out without costing any $$$$. Just your time, which can still be annoying.

Omg that's so embarrassing! I'm normally the kind of guy that scoffs at their/there/they're mistakes. Dunno how I did that!

Auto-correct undoubtedly.

Does that to me all the time.
