Infiniti dealership ruined my paint

Yesterday I took my car to Infiniti to have it serviced and it comes back washed, so I wasn't too upset thinking it'll be hand washed since this is a luxury car. However I come to the car and the whole hood, roof, and trunk have scratches on it, they said they will try buff it, but won't take any responsibility, please help. What did I do? They have ruined the whole car and just screwed me over for it

Yup, this happens all the time. You can try and demand to get them to send it off to a reputable detail ship and have them foot the bill. This is why I always put "do no wash" signs in my car because I had a similar thing happen to me years back. Good luck.

Yep, NEVER let the dealer wash your car. I doubt your paint is ruined, hopefully just a good buff of the clear coat and a polish/wax is all that's needed. These cars have very weak paint, just looking at it wrong will cause a scratch, swirl, or chip. Best to invest in your own quality buffer (like a Porter Cable) and deal w/ the paint yourself.
