I recently had my windshield replaced and the tech used a liquid polymer to cast a new rain sensor gel pad. Needless to say the rain sensor did not work.

The tech came back and replaced the “homemade” gel pad with what I assume was a generic gel pad and rain sensor still does not work. They claim the rain sensor bracket on the new windshield is the culprit and they plan on replacing it which doesn’t ring true to me.

I’d like them to use an OEM gel pad but I can’t seem to find the part number.

 

I found the part numbers got the correct part and the rain sensor now works
