Thank you sir! But i completely agree, window tint would tie yours together nicely. I liked the chrome on mine too, i just got bored with it and wanted to change things up a bit so i gave it a shot

Can never go wrong with Gun Metal I say. Also keep us posted with the coils if you dont mind me asking what kind you got.
Broski28, how do you get away with that tint in Chicago? LOL! So I have a schedule to have a tint done and was planning on 35% all around, but maybe I will go 30% since interior is black.
How is that film that you wrap on the chrome area holds up from a touchless pressure wash? Do you also have a known place in Chicago to install a lowering spring? Here an import shop told me $400 to install for springs.....
Thanks, man!

I actually had to hold off on the coils for now. I had an order placed for Fortune Auto 500s to be built and a couple things came up that i had to attend to first. I'm hoping in the next month or so to get back on the list for them, I've seen nothing but great reviews so far

This is my third G with 5% tint and i was stopped once back in the day but i was out of state in Iowa at the time.
As far as pressure washes go, I am not sure ATM. I usually only hand wash my car so maybe someone else can chime in about taking it thru car washes.
I got my coilovers and a set of lowering springs installed at a best muffler shop near my house, they charged me roughly $200 for each install. Its hard to say where you went to get a quote but $400 seems fairly high. I know a place in Glenview called Auto Art, I actually got my wheels from them but they are a pretty high end shop so they might be on the pricey side as well. Any suspension shop should be able to do them so try a few others and see how they quote you!
Wow looks great man , been thinking about doing this in mine as my trim is kinda beat 75k miles :/. What color you got with the dark grey matte? My cars platnium graphite and looking for a color match, yours looks very close .

My car is OB so the 3m Matte dark grey really tied nicely with my wheels. If your looking for a match for you platinum graphite i would order a bunch of samples and find the best match!
We'd you get the samples from. Did you just contact a company and ask them for them?
Thanx man
Hey love the look! I ran a brushed titanium for my window trim, and it really ties in with the brushed grigio of my wheels. I've done my lip spoiler in gloss black 3m, and did the inside of my grille in the same, with more brushed titanium on the outside. Feel free to check it all out in my build thread here https://www.myg37.com/forums/build-t...ml#post3923508

I got to wrapping the rear trunk piece, it wasnt as bad as i thought. A little heating and pulling but i was impressed with the outcome. I f'd up and scratched the vinyl before i put it on so i might tear it off and try again if it drives me crazy lol.
Under all the finger prints and glares from the light i manage to get it done with no air bubbles, just the minor nick on the right side. Ill take better pics during the day tomorrow but I'm gonna shoot for doing the grill in a few days
