OB vs gloss black

Does anyone know how close OB is to just regular gloss black?

I've been wanting to get my grill painted OB, but I don't want to leave my car grill-less for more than a couple hours. It isn't garaged and I don't have a car cover. I'm thinking I can just wrap it since I can do that myself. The vinyl would obviously be gloss black and I would rather avoid 2 vastly different blacks on my car.

I guess another option is to just dip it since that's what I did to the chrome trunk lip, BUT that is getting replaced with an OEM spoiler soon enough and there won't be matte black(introduced by me) anywhere else on the car

ps: Hope this is in the right place.

Either option would work, Dipping will be easier but possibly more difficult to remove. If you want to get some experience working w/ vinyl that would be a good opportunity, and if you already know how to wrap then I would go that route. The vinyl will look different than the OB under various angles & lighting but pretty close. Your door pillars are vinyl wrapped from the factory for reference.
