Tail Light covers, not-smoked

Today I was going through pictures, trying to get an idea of visual mods I want to do to my car and came across pic from 2012 with white tail light shrouds. It seems that everyone likes to smoke their heads and tails and I want something different. Anyone know where I can find these or something similar?:

Maybe it is OEM paint, I'm not sure either. Ya know something I would do first if I wanted those tail covers is sent a pm to Bluebatmobile.com. He's on this site somewhere and his main thing is headlight, taillight, rear valance, roof covers etc. He MAY be able to help you or hopefully push you in the right direction.

I have gloss white and a metallic white. Why not do opaque black?

I like black, but it seems overplayed. I am wanting something at least a hair more unique.

You've got a point. But black sure does look good. Absolutely nothing wrong with being unique tho, isn't that part of the whole point of modding?

That white outline looks absolutely horrible. But of course we all have different taste just like some people love 30" donks and some people love 19". I agree with Redfire that being unique is THE point of modding but just do it tastefully and not throwing all kinds of fake vents, scoops, or whale tail just to say your car is "unique". You can't go wrong with bluebat's smokey black tho.

Yeah, I am nervous about doing white because I haven't seen it done any where else than that picture. My main reason for not going black is that I am trying to minimize the black and chrome on the car, other than the grille, that's staying black. I just emailed B@t and if the cost isn't bad I'll make the jump and post pics as soon as I have them on. Even if it looks bad I'll post the pic and then admit my wrong, that way others don't have to make the same mistake.

I am not one to put fake vents and crap on a car either. But if I had a Porsche or Z, I'd definitely look into getting a whale tail spoiler, like the one on the GT3-RS.

Whale tail huh? I'd like to see a pic of that. The main thing with blue bat is if he has an installer around you. His product costs are very resonable, but I had trouble finding someone to install the stuff (even tho it's supposed to be a easy DIY). But I decided to pass on it since I didn't wanna take the chance on wasting $60 and I certainly wasn't gonna pay a shop $200 to do the install for me.

But Bat has installers all over. So as long as you don't live in a hick town then you should be gravy.
