Front Window Tinting Dilemma
Front Window Tinting Dilemma
Whats up G's,
So I'm in a situation where I can't decide on front window tint. I am deciding between Suntek Carbon 18% or 35% on the front, with the back 3 windows at 5% Suntek Carbon.
Will the 5% to 35% be to big of a jump? I had 20% on my Honda Accord before and it wasn't that dark in the sunlight. I could clearly make out a person or tell who is in the car behind the window tint in the sunlight. I don't really want it like that. So I'm guessing the 35% is going to be worst than my old tint (I don't know brand) ? The 18% just seems ALOT darker than the old 20% I had but I am going off pictures so it is most likely alot different in person.
If anyone has front Tints, would yall post a picture and tell me the %? I'm leaning towards 18% front 2 and 5% back 3, but I just want to make sure. Thansk!

Here my car right before tints

Here's my car right after the tint (35/20)

I woulda gone 20/5 or 5 all around if there were no tint laws here, hope this helps. Also blacking out the window trim helps minimize the contrast IMO. Don't know what your plans are for that, but it for sure made it all look smoother.

What's good, same color paint and interior so I'll try and help. I'm from Maine where 35 is the darkest you can legally get on the front. If you do 35 in the front, tha darkest you can go in the back is 18 without the contrast looking too weird.

This is my G with extremely dark tint in the back and the front tint isn't as dark although it may look like that. When the sun hits it you can seen inside the car a bit. As for as % wise I'm not too sure to be honest I bought it like this.
That **** looks clean af. If you can see through it when the sun hits it or it's sunny, might be 20% even though they look like 5%. Cause with 5%, even if it's thw sunniest day, you can't see through it without getting up close to it. But I'm going to proaby get the 5% in back, 18% front. Idk 35% seems to light for me

Llumar 15% (per their own specs its 18%, why Llumar calls it 15 is beyond me) on all windows. As you can see from the shadows the car is facing the sun. Front windshield has clear film to block heat and UV rays, highly recommended. I have graphite (black) interior.

My car is proof its amazing what a set of wheels/springs can do.
