You ever end up getting the lights done?

Not much of a guru if he did your lights in one day and sealed them. Your gonna have some issues down the road due to your paint not being cured before the lights are sealed. No where for the gases to go. So bring on the haze and headlight craze..

Only left the car there for one day. They were painted at 4pm, left out to dry, then resealed the next day at 10am. Hope it was long enough, but the other option was me doing a DIY (just paint no LEDs) and I wouldn't have left them any longer than that.... I guess if I run into any problems it's an excuse to upgrade my lenses. But judging from how my friends lights have held up perfectly over the past 3 years, I'd said he's pretty guru-ish...

He currently has his lights in his possession. He's wiring up the halos and sending them to the painter this week. I should have them by next Tuesday. I shipped them to him rather than making the 6 hour trek. I'll update this post with how it comes out.

You're post was so helpful! After a few back and forth emails with Chris, I ordered the switchback led halos for my G37xs. Will post pics and video when installed!

Hi,

I'm Chris, the guy in NH performing the headlight jobs. I cure the paint in an oven at low temps before I place them back in the headlight. There will be no gas build-up in the headlight after painting.

Alright everyone, here's the moment we've all been waiting for (or me at least lol)

I got my lights back from him and they look awesome.

They were painted Ford Tuxedo Black (Super glossy and sparkly black color) and had him install Morimoto RGB Halo's

Here's some daytime shots (working on getting night time shots and a video soon).
