So the dashboard light on my tach is going in and out around 6 - 7 RPM. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so, is it as simple as swamping a light in the back or something?

It could be all a coincidence, but it happened after my battery died and I swapped it with a AAA battery, but they swear I have the right battery.

 

Careful with the batteries you buy.

I bought a battery from Car Quest for my father on his Jeep.

It turned out to be re-manufactured and it was also sold with a lower voltage than his jeep required.

You may have the right size battery but not the right voltage.

not sure what an AAA batter stacks up to but its best to get a good one. I need a battery this summer and am going to get OEM from Infiniti.

 

same exact thing happened to mine...

either you have to take it completely apart or get a new cluster it sucks
