Fog lights won't turn on, no indicator light either
2012 g37x sedan.
Bulbs appear in perfect condition. Haven't checked the fuse yet.
Anyone know if there's a "special" way to turn them on/off. For example, you can turn off the auto-up function for your windows by holding up the switch for 5 seconds (this info is NOT in the owners manual, a salesman showed me).
I'm wondering if I accidentally held the high beam switch while turning the fog light switch a certain amount of times which turns off the fog lights until you perform the same action again to turn them back on. Does anyone know about these little tricks? I couldn't even find them in the field service manual but I know tricks like that DO exist.

I'm guessing that you either have a blown fuse, a loose connection at the fog lamp relay, or maybe a problem with the switch. There is no "trick" that I know of- it is a simple switch; either on or off.
2012 should be under warranty. If you double check everything and still can't find anything bring it to them.

I'd start with the fuse/relay or whatever.
Also, your headlights (not high beam) must be on in order for them to turn on. Also, is the switch in the right spot?
Sorry if you feel I am patronizing you, but a few months ago, a new user here couldn't get his hood open...the lever in the car would pop it up, but he said that it felt like something else was holding it shut. He didn't know about the latch under the hood that you have to activate before it releases the hood completely.
So I try not to assume that everyone knows little nuances like this moving forward.
