Does having the flat bottom provide any advantage, or is it purely cosmetic? Also, does this affect one's ability to stabilize the wheel with a knee in the event that you need your arms temporarily for something else while driving?

It definitely look out of center to me but why you care about that red line?

I like the center stripe for track. It provides a quick visual cue as to where the wheel is pointed and is great when reviewing video. If the stripe is not centered it doesn't really work.

They look centered to me... it might just be his images taken at an angle. the ebay pics look straighter. they should make one without the red line, im not liking it.

The ring is perfectly centered with the fuji on the airbag. I'm definitely a stickler for details like that as well

The flat bottom gives a nice look and it's also easier to grip when making a turn. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. Now what to do with the old steering wheel...hmm

Slap it up on eBay, or take a chance and customize it similar to your new one.

Just checked other pics of this wheal and that red line is definitely not perfectly in the center.

It all of the images it's a bit to the right no matter from what angle image was taken.

Save the old wheel to return to stock when you get rid of the car.
