Hey guys. I was looking at a GTR a while back, and I really liked the seats. They look really cool imo, so I thought what the hell, why not? Do any of y'all know if it's possible to swap them? My only concern is, them being so complicated, air bags, power adjusting, heating(?), and whatever else, would it just be plug and play? I know Nissan shares some parts across the board, but I just don't know. It'd be really cool to do, so I figured I'd turn to the forum, since some of y'all are pretty knowledgable.

SO. Thoughts guys? Opinions? Thanks!

I don't know the answer, but the other question to consider is if the seat rails are interchangable or if you will have to modify them to work in the G. Similar platforms so it may be a plug and play thing.

You could always try it and be the first.

Those would be quite an upgrade if it didn't throw any electronic issues.
Kinda be a buzzkill if you started the G and the airbags went off

 

You know I want to, but for the price they go for… I don't know man. Probably just gunna wind up buying some Recaros or something but we'll see.
And lmao at the airbag thing. Just imagining putting a brick on the brake pedal and poking the starter button with a pool cue or something

 

For $1,500 may as well go aftermarket. GTR seats aren't the best looking out there, nor the lightest.

 

Yes it can be done. I seen some guys do that here already. It looks very nice. I asked and it comes down to the seat rails. You have too just modify them a certain way so they fit, But FIT they do .. try it out and post some pics'..

That's about how much I paid for my used seats... But then the rails were special order $450 and 2 month wait.

 

Subscribed out of sheer interest. I plan on getting GT-R seats too...but with the whole car around them.

 

FYI, heated seats were optional on this $100K car and used a hi-low-off rocker like the earlier G's. On 2010 models the switch was on the outboard side of the seat base itself, plastic shroud area, which I can't see in the ebay pics. Not that this would be the least of the worries, but rather just another.

Yes amazing looking seats and comfortable too, a friend of mine just got her CLA45 AMG few months ago and I even had a chance to move it out of a parking spot lol

The interior was definitely nice looking with the red accents, here and there and the red seatbelts and thooose seats ugh

 

Yes same seats in the CLA45 AMG. They are SO sick.

 

Now these are seats I'd invest in!!
