Badging G37 to skyline 370gt

What do you people think about badging a Infinity G37 coupe to a Nissan skyline 370gt ? I'm debating if I should do it?.....

I personally think it looks tacky and I hate seeing it. If I wanted a Nissan, I would have bought one. And yes, I know, it's a Nissan over in Japan, yada yada yada...

With that being said, It's your car, do what you like with it. Why should you care if I or anyone else likes it or not. What's really important is if you like it. Would you do something to your car that you hated because everyone else said it was cool? Why would you not do something you wanted to your car just because other people don't like it?

The mod bug is a finicky beast for sure! You should check out this thread:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/newbie-...rformance.html

It sounds like you're looking more into appearance than performance, but it's still a good post to read through. I thought there was another post just like that, but for appearance type mods/upgrades, but I can't seem to find it.

It all depends what you're in to as far as your choices of what can be done. I personally try to keep my vehicles more stock looking and don't go crazy with performance stuff either. I created a list of things to do over time and I just check the things I still need/want to do to the car whenever I feel like messing with it. I'll post my list of things I've done and still need to do so you can check that out. You might get some ideas, but it sounds like we may be interested in different things.

Need to do:
Clean Throttle Boddies
Premium Floor Mats - ORDERED
LED Mod in PTS Button
Headlight LEDs
Spark Plugs
Cabin Filter
All Fluid Flush
Switch Plate for Remote Start Override
Midnight Grille
Paint Fix
Liquid Glass Seal/Wax
Carpet Pegs - ORDERED

————————————————————————

DONE:
Ground Kit - DONE
Washi Door Pulls - DONE
Map Update - DONE
Steering Wheel Trim - DONE
Mobile1 Synthetic Oil - DONE
New Front Sport Bumper - DONE
LED Kit for Interior - DONE
Turn Signal LED Rings Mod - DONE
Zaino 9 & 10 for Leather - DONE
DBALL Factory Fob Remote Start - DONE
PCV Valves - DONE
OEM Lock Lugs - DONE
Tune2air & Charge Adapters for BT - DONE
Trunk Cargo Net - DONE
Find and fix interior rattle - DONE (stupid sunglasses holder)
Fix the drivers side front splash guard (need push plug on bottom) - DONE
Headlight Restoration - DONE
Mishimoto Intake Tubes - DONE
aFe Dry Air Filters - DONE
Infiniti Black Pearl License Plate Frame - Done
Push Plugs for wheel well and trunk - DONE
Shift **** - DONE

As you can see not all of those things are mods or upgrades. I just make a list of everything I wanted to do with the car. I may add to the list as I go along, but I want to get through all of that before thinking about more stuff.

The silver trim piece was all scratched up, so I just replaced it with a new one. I almost went with the M45 shift ****, but decided against it. I'm still not convinced I made the right decision there though.

I have an AT, so my choices were much smaller than what you have. I also have a 6MT G35, so I know how many shift **** choices there are for the 6MT folks. Like I said before, I like to keep my vehicles appearing mostly stock (inside and out), so the Nismo shift **** would not be my choice, but I know a lot of people really like it.
