craacked fog lens
Not sure when , how, but my fog lens on driver side are cracked, they still work , but guessing this is the perfect time to consider some type of change as the oem replacements aren't cheap and i cant just buy the lens cover etc. Anyone upgraded their fog light(housing) and if so, what did you use and was it plug and play...trying to minimize any splicing/soldering etc.... saw this from IJDM

I was in the same boat as you with a cracked drivers side fog light and I ordered those exact led lights a couple of weeks ago. So far I am very happy with them. They seem like they're very good quality and they are very bright! I did not wire the halos though because I didn't have time. The main lights are plug and play however and you cannot tell that the halos aren't wired when the others are on. The drivers side was easy to replace, but the passenger side is a pain because the windshield washer tank is directly behind the light. I have pics of the lights on during the day on my build thread (Ryan's '12 xS) if you want to see them on, but the pic doesn't do them justice.
Those look nice.
What do you have to do to wire in the halo component? I'm guessing those two little wire leads extending from the harness. I wonder what you wire them into? Driving lights, I suppose... which would mean always on. Hmm.
Is there a flat plastic/glass lens over the front? Hard to tell from these pics.

guyinswmo- good to hear and taht they look good and suffficiently bright. is there an option to wire the halos so that they come on with the fog lights rather than alone?that would seem like a good option as well. did you access the via the wheel well or under carriage?. saw the pics on your thread and they look really good, so will order me a set and see how it goes...i wonder if the halos are sufficiently bright for daytime or more of a dull light type accent...?

I can't tell from the pics.
The reason I'm asking, is that I like having my wrapped in Amber window tint. I like that look against Moonlight White. I'm thinking of experimenting with these LED fogs, and I'd like to do the same.

You could save some money and go with these:
Yes, but is the lens over the housing uniformly flat, like the OEM lens?
