Window Tint

I am planning to get my 2011 G37 coupe windows tinted, especially since I live in Florida. Any suggestions which material to go with? I do want to stay legal to avoid getting stopped. I also would like any opinions on going with the visor strip that seems so popular down here.

Most everyone I know does a 5% front strip and as far as staying legal I believe its 35%.

No matter how dark or what color. Make sure you get ceramic. It might be a little more $$$ but it's worth it

Look at getting clear film installed on your windshield - your interior will stay much cooler and it will block a ton of damaging UV rays. 3M Crystalline is one of a couple to consider.

+1 for ceramic.

We always do ours one step beyond legal; I figure if it's close I'll get a bye.

Don't forget to do the sunroof!

After having 3M tint installed 3 weeks ago, it just never looked right. So i fired my tint guy, had the tint removed, went with Llumar CTX 30% all around. There is a huge difference in heat absorbtion. My Frontier Nismo with film is is significantly warmer than the G coupe with ceramic.
