Smile Front Lip Painting ?

Hi Everyone,

Well finally received my lip for my sport bumper from duraflex.

Guys im curious is it hard to install a lip also how much should painting cost at a body shop ?

is $100-$150 a good price or am i being ripped off ?

That's a good price considering shop time and materials of sanding, primer, paint, and clear coat. Even if it's already primed, that's a fair price

Hmmmm well i called another place and they said $80 and it`ll be ready in 1 day or less

All he asked me was my color code : K57

BUT what if he doesn't know its an infiniti K57 ... ? and like puts a toyota color ...

or what if he put a k57 color from 2010 and my car is an 09 ...

So many concerns can someone help straighten me out please LOL

Any reputable paint shop will mix the paint and then show you a sample next to your car BEFORE they get the go ahead to paint. This is where you take control of the conversation with them. Make sure you see that the color is matched, outside on a sunny day, before they ever paint the lip. Then enjoy the finished product!

Just got back the finished product and matched it with my car . Honestly perfect match and he painted in 3 hours he said to let it dry a bit more over night and then Install which is another thing I'm worried about
