What is the window tint % that stock sedan came with? I can tell there is a slight tint to the window. And what's a reasonable price to tint 4 windows + back?

The stock tint is around 10%.
Not sure where you are located, so price varies.
I'm located in Massachusetts and I paid $180...which is a good price for quality tint.

 

I highly doubt that any "stock" tint is 10%. Ten percent means that only 10% of light is going through. Unless you purchased a CPO that the previous owner tinted out.

Privacy glass/stock tint is usually like 50%.

Light Tint: 50%
Medium Tint: 35%
Dark Tint: 20%
Limo: 5%

Anyone ever get double limo?

 

I would stay away from double limo or even 5% tint. That's dark to the point where you will have a hard time driving at night.

On a previous car of mine, I paid around 200 for quality 3M film.

 

Should I have said 90% instead!

I have 45% tint added to the already existing tint that comes stock on the windows, which reads as 35%...which is legal limit here in Massachusetts.

Better?

 

I'll just add to consider a clear film on the front windshield as well. 3M Crystalline or LLumar AIR80 for examples. Will reduce heat & UV damage significantly.

 

I have 20% metalized tint all around on my G right now. It appears a lot dark than it is because of the black interior. My other cars are 35% all around, which is easier to see at night.

Limo tint is bit too dark and makes it unsafe for you and other's on the roads (pedestrians included).

 

Have always had limo tint, please by metalized....you dont mean that reflective/mirror crap?

Its amazing the effect tint has on a car....
