Back middle seat belt
Back middle seat belt
The other day my wife was going to take my two kids and my daughter's friend to the movies in the g37. Unfortunately, the middle seatbelt is there but there is nothing to buckle it into. I put my bland into the spot where the other sides buckle comes out hoping it would be in there, but nothing.
Is there a trick to this?

If you remove the rear seat cushion you will probably find that the middle belt's buckle hasn't been tucked up through the gap. It's awkward to do but when reinstalling the seat cushion all 3 buckles need to be passed through before you latch it down.
Service manuals are here:
Index of /FSM/G37/Sedan/2010
The one for the seats is "SE.pdf" and the one for the belts is "SB.pdf".

As others have said, the buckle has probably slipped underneath the seat bottom cushion.
If you can't feel it and dig it out, do this...
Look at the very front of the seat bottom cushion, along the bottom edge, where it meets the back of the rear seat foot wells (if that makes any sense). You should find two small black tabs (one on each side of the car). These tabs allow you to remove the seat bottom cushion. Release them both and you should be able to move the seat cushion and find the buckle. You may want to have a helper assist you.
If you can't figure it out, I'd just go to the dealer. I doubt they'd charge much (if anything) to make it right for you (especially since the seat belt warranty is 10 years).

I was able to confirm this, the buckle was hidden at the back under the cushion.
I simply released the two clips holding the seat down, and lifted it up. Taking it out would have required to remove all buckles and putting them back in does not seem easy.
As expected, there is a huge amount of candy, crayons and other crap spread under the back seat cushion. It's obvious the previous owner had kids.
