Choman's car on the right, with the yellow bulbs. My car on the left, with Amber window tint.

Unlit, his are OEM normal. Unlit, mine are still orange (by intent.) Lit, his are more intense, because mine are filtered by tint.

Regardless of the straight on color, note the yellow reflection in the water on his, and the orange reflection on mine.

There is no right answer, just personal preference.

Betty, there is no right or wrong answer, no matter how strongly you project an opinion.

OP simply requested an opinion and I gave mine.
PROJECTING IT STRONGLY WOULD HAVE LOOKED MORE LIKE THIS!!!

You've got whatever reasons you have for liking they way you chose to do yours. For me that's completely wrong. So it's a good thing I'm not modding your car and vice versa. But I didn't think that's what this thread was about. OP just solicited opinions and didn't ask for reasons why or debate. I just gave mine. You gave yours. We won't agree on this one. That's OK by me.

Wow. Lighten up, Francis. (Pun intended )

I offered the OP photographs for comparison, and non-committal observations both pro & con. What did you do?

I think this is simply a form vs function issue. BlackBetty seems to prefer the functionality of bulbs. One way or another, tint over fog lights reduces their effective illumination in fog. I suspect that's his objection, much the same way as he objects to HID fog light swaps. It is a valid safety concern, but, like tinted tailights, it is an aesthetic decision someone made at the risk of safety.

It's "wrong" to tint tailights and fogs if you're looking at it from a safety viewpoint.

Rochester, you're just in it for the looks XD

That's mostly correct. But if I were truly in it for looks, I'd consider LED bulb replacement. I've played with LED bulbs in the past for fogs, and they do look sparkly pretty, but are completely useless as fogs. Like I said twice now, there is no right or wrong, just priorities and preference.

OP, hope the pics give you perspective to make your own decisions, regardless of how serious and silly some people seem to take this stuff.

Oh hey, let's all thank GoFightNguyen.

I'm gonna order the Hoen yellow bulbs. I loved having yellow fogs from the factory on my Lexus. Really improved bad weather visibility.

NOKYA ftw~!

Very slight noticeable difference during the day (if you're the type to keep them on) but creates a great glow during the night. Nothing too bright as theyre technically stock bulbs...

Same ones I use. Great illumination in poor weather conditions. I used PIAA before and they had a nice deep yellow but are expensive and didn't last as long as I expected from a premium brand.
