Welcome Lighting

Hi All,

I recently, as in this past Saturday, purchased a 2013 G37x Malbec Black Sedan. I was wondering, since this is available for the Q50, and looks pretty boss IMO, if anyone might know if this can be installed on my G? Welcome Lighting - 2014 Infiniti Q50, Infiniti Parts Superstore - Infiniti Accessories and Parts for sale online for a discount.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should be able to, this isn't something new. Nissan Altima's has had it for about 2 years now 2014 Nissan Altima Sedan Accessory Parts - Nissan USA eStore

Amazon Amazon

Check it out.. but you'd find it much cheaper on amazon.com for the parts
I thought about it but never went for it.

let us know if you do go for it and show us some pictures.

Thanks

Interesting. I like the look and the feature since I usually get in the car and head home in the dark. It says the LED's mount between the front and rear wheel but where exactly? Give an update if you spring for this

Oh I definitely plan on getting this, the issue now is to find a shop to get it done at. I'm brand new to this, but any tips of shops to get this done at in the Northern California area would be great. Then I'll post pics, and specifics, and let you guys judge for your individual selves

Have you also seen the door logo lights? They are small projector elements that mount in the bottom of the door and cast an image on the ground when you open the door. A bit gimmicky for me but I could see some people buying these. Some dealers can make custom lens for whatever logo you want.

I'm still trying to locate an installer, have the parts from Amazon. My dealer asked the service department and they said it was just not possible. I find this to be an unacceptable answer so I'm still trying to locate somewhere that can do it. Gonna try lightwurkz and see what they say. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess tapping into the dome lights are not an easy task without going into the roof or something. Maybe tap into the door lights. Though you wont get the same features it will only light when u open the door.

But surely the dome lighting must get a relay from somewhere else, wouldn't it? Or what about the illuminated kickplates, and tap into that wiring because it is already prewired for that. I just simply do not know but will let you guys know when I get them done, even if it is a custom shop (which it sounds like it will be)

On a related note - I am adding illuminated door sill plates to my G37S convertible. Is the wiring already there in the rockers? I see a dealer selling a pair on eBay that looks like there might be a Y-harness that ties the two plates into the main harness somewhere.

It ties in on front passenger side, down by your feet. You take the side panel off and tie in there. It should come with instructions.
