What is that from? MS Flight Simulator X or X-Plane?

Funny this thread hit the front page of this forum. I've had my 2010 G37 Journey a little over a month now and the clock light started flickering about a week ago. I found this thread by S'ingTFF. At the time I was hoping to find how-to instructions on just replacing the bulb since I eclipsed 40,000 miles already while owning the car (had just over 39,000 when I bought it). But I learned that the bulb is integrated into the clock.

Anyway, I still needed to learn how to remove the radio panel to get to the clock, and I found this video. Hope this helps other guys who want to do this on their own. Seems easy enough.

I'm thinking of just getting to the clock and disabling the light behind it. I have the time displaying on my nav screen all the time anyway. The analog clock is really for aesthetics anyway. And I'd rather save the money and have no light than spend $60 on eBay to have a lit clock.

Do you know if this would be covered by the CPO limited warranty? I emailed the dealership and they said it should be, but I don't want to go all the way there and just have them tell me it's not covered.

FYI, the clock was covered under CPO limited warranty. However, had it not been the dealership was willing to take care of it for free. (Depends on dealership I'm guessing)

Man.... I bought my G Sedan last week from a Nissan dealer and I noticed the clock flicker a few times tonight. I was hoping it was just a bulb... it's a 2011 and I just hit 40K miles so hopefully there's some warranty left.

It'd be useful to lose the clock entirely and actually get some useful gauges in there.. Voltage, coolant temp, oil temp, etc.. Waste of space IMO. I don't even know if mine works, I never look at it.

Because any gauge is more useful than a clock

Wish the displays on non-nav equipped cars included a clock on there somewhere. I'm always checking for the time there first, and then remembering that I have an analog clock lower down.

Sure it's classy, but digital numbers are just easier to read. Sometimes the light coming into the car puts one of the clock hands in shadow, and takes just a moment longer to determine the time. It's a little thing, but putting a little digital clock in the display doesn't seem like it would have been too hard to do.

I'm in the same boat. 2011 and it started flickering the other day. Tonight it went out completely. I'd rather do it myself than pay a dealer a small fortune. Thankfully everything is on the Internet.

Were you able to fix this yourself? Where did you find instructions?

My G37x is one month out of warranty and infinity consumer support told me to go for a hike. Thanks Infiniti.
