Talking Will a G37 Sport Sedan seat work in a Journey Sedan

The answer is YES. The wiring harnesses do not have the same color wire connections but it does work. Got a seat (two and made 1 good one) from a 2009 G37S sedan and it works fine in my 2010 G37 Journey. I just made sure to disconnect the battery and waited 5 minutes before un-doing the 3 connectors. It asll works fine so far & the air-bag light is off too, I was worried it would not check but it did. So success!

As discussed before, one of the reasons I chose a Journey coupe over the sport model was that the sport seats were uncomfortable when compared to the Journey seats.

LOL....I thought the Journey seats were "blah". The sport seats are great and I'd get the S package for the seats alone.

I would totally trade my non-sport seats for a set of sport seats. Heck, I would just do a driver's side trade if someone was down.

Sport seats have thicker side bolstering and they have the thigh extension. Also, I think the foam is slightly denser. Either that or the fact that the non-sport seats have less foam makes them a bit softer.

The big difference to me is the torso and thigh support that is adjustable via an air bladder & the part under the knee extends. They are a bit narrower so if you are "big" you may want to say visit the dealer & see how they feel first. If you are looking for a seat try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market you can usually find a good one for around $200. Just ask for pictures if you are not picking it up. Ebay is way over priced. Like $600 vs $200~

Exactly... I love my Sport "bucket" seats with adjustable torso support as well as thigh support and the thigh extension and HATED the non-sport seats on the loaner sedans I have driven few times... in sharp turns my *** would almost fall out of the seats and not stay still like in the sport seats

Sport seats are uncomfortable for many "smaller" people, so it's not necessarily a size thing. They either are to one's liking or not, but they are polarizing for sure.

That is certainly true. I guess we should add "sport seats versus non-sport seats" to our long list of recurring debates.

I understand still debating if I like the sport or non-sport seat. Thinking about putting the sport back on my non-sport bottom. Will give the sport seat a few weeks & then decide.
