Help with lighting

A month ago I lost my passenger side head light high/low beam on my 2008 G37S coupe. I took the car to the Nissan dealer (nearest Infiniti dealer is 170 miles away) I was told the ballast was bad. Thanks to this forum I was able to replace it without replacing the whole headlight assembly. However in the process of replacing the ballast, I noticed the dealer failed to put the rear access cover to the headlight bulb back on. I spoke with the dealer with not success. The part is not available alone and must be purchased with the entire headlight assembly. Does anyone have one I could purchase or have a salvaged light assembly I could purchase. Or perhaps an idea. Again many thanks for the help.

Have you checked various import auto recyclers/junk yards in your area for any front end collision infinitis with damage headlights that they'd sell that cover to you for?

also I just hit up ebay and typed in " g37 headlight cap ". Found some that would maybe interest you. Here is a link to one if this is the cover you're talking about:
