IPL Vert Seats vs Coupe

Hey Guys,
I am a recent new owner of a 2013 G37 -IPL-Convertible and have noticed that in every picture i see of the coupe verses the vert the driver and passenger seats are different in the 2 models. The coupe looks like the front of the seatbottom is able to be adjusted while the vert looks like the same as my old G35 coupe seat. Does anyone know why they are different? Was this an option i didnt know about or are the seats different? It looks like even on some of the IPL coups that have interior colors other than red still have this different seat bottom. what gives??

IIRC, coupes and sedans are the only cars that came with them.

I may be wrong, but I think the IPL seats have the cooling option as well as heating. The Sport seats in the Sport vert only have the heating option.

Correct mine has both the heating and cooling. In many of the IPL driving reviews i have seen the commentator say they are putting the car in Sport Mode. Is this also an option just in the IIRC or are they just turning off the traction control? BTW what does IIRC stand for? (i should probably know this)

lol, giving my southern neighbors a bad name. i thought it might stand for some special low volumn Infiniti line like COPO to Chevys or something like that. Wonder why only coupes and sedans would have that set? if they dont have the heated and cooled seats that might be why. requires a different bottom.

My 08 coupe had the extendable seat bottom, but they were only heated not cooled.

Trade off for having cool air up your bum
